Check Out LeBron’s 2019 NBA All-Star Game Mouthguard
For the fifteenth consecutive year, and the first as a member of the Western Conference, LeBron James is once again an NBA All-Star!
The NBA’s annual mid-season celebration — taking place Sunday, February 17th in Charlotte — extends LeBron’s streak for most consecutive All-Star Games, ties him with Kobe Bryant for most career All-Star Game starts and puts James at third all-time for most All-Star Game appearances.
As the top overall vote getter in the Western Conference — LeBron finished with the most All-Star votes in the NBA — James earned the role of team captain, along with Giannis Antetokounmpo in the Eastern Conference. LeBron and Giannis selected their teams from a pool of players, fantasy draft style. Team LeBron will feature James’ former Cleveland teammate Kyrie Irving, reigning MVP James Harden and the reigning Finals MVP, Kevin Durant.
Over his 14 previous All-Star appearances, James has averaged 24.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6 assists and 1.3 steals in 29.6 minutes, while shooting .530 (141-266) from the floor. He ranks first all-time in All-Star Game points scored (343), first in field goals made (141), first in three-pointers made (35), second in scoring average (24.5) and fifth in assists (84).
In celebration of this year’s festivities in Charlotte, LeBron had two of his patented High Performance custom mouthguards created with different designs for his number 23 — one in black and white and the other in red, white and blue. Both options feature the ID “*XV*” to represent the number of LeBron’s All-Star game appearances.
