Details: Kieran McArdle joined the Florida Launch as the 5th overall pick in the 2014 MLL Collegiate Draft, following four years at St. John’s University. In his first MLL season, the attackman from Ronkonkoma, New York won the 2014 Cascade Rookie of the Year, as he totaled 34 goals and 15 assists.
In 2015, McArdle led the Launch in points and goals, finishing out the season with 65 and 47, respectively. His 65 points also set a new Launch record for points in one season and he was named one of three attackmen to the 2015 All-MLL Team. He was also named Offensive Player of the Week for week 5 of the season. McArdle’s 47 goals and 65 points were also good enough for 1st and 2nd respectively in the league.
During his college career, McArdle was a record-setting attackman. He earned multiple USILA All-American selections and was named Big East Attack Player of the Year during his final season with the Red Storm, after leading the league in points, goals and assists.
