Zach Makovsky’s Special Edition Brazil BRAVE CF 60 Mouthguard

On Saturday, July 30, BRAVE Combat Federation returns to Brazil — for the fifth time overall, and the first in the city of Goiânia — for BRAVE CF 60. And Team Gladiator Athlete Zach Makovsky will be there for a huge flyweight bout against Kazakhstan’s Asu Almabaev.

Makovsky (21-10) is eager to get back to his winning ways after a disappointing split decision in the semifinals of last year’s BRAVE CF tournament. His opponent, Almabaev (15-2), will pose a tough matchup though. In 2021, Almabaev won both the BRAVE CF Submission of the Year award and the BRAVE CF Breakout Fighter of the Year prize. He is currently on an 11-fight win streak.

To commemorate the event, our hometown hero — he’s from Philadelphia, just like us! — Makovsky has two design options to choose from for his Pro with Power Grip mouthguard. Both designs incorporate the Brazilian flag and feature his nickname “Fun Size.”
