Personalized Protection: Total Madness Ensues On MTV’s The Challenge

The sports world has come to a complete and total standstill. Total madness, right?

While there may not be live sports to help us bide the time right now, that doesn’t mean athletic competition is gone completely. Thankfully, MTV’s The Challenge returns for season 35 today, April 1.

Welcome to The Challenge: Total Madness!

Featuring a mix of Challenge veterans — like Johnny Bananas, CT, Wes, Jenna, Tori and Nany — and newcomers from series like Big Brother, Survivor and The Amazing Race, The Challenge: Total Madness features 14 males and 14 females vying for glory and a million-dollar prize “in a literal war zone.”

What will they be using for protection in this war zone? Gladiator mouthguards, of course.
