The Official Mouthguard Of The World’s Best Women’s Lacrosse Talent

Gladiator Custom Mouthguards is proud to once again be the Official Mouthguard of Athletes Unlimited (AU) Lacrosse League, which is set to host its fourth season this summer from July 18 to August 11 at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Maryland. When the AU athletes take the field on July 18 to start year four, Athletes Unlimited will set the record for the longest-running professional opportunity for women’s lacrosse players. And Gladiator has been there since year one!

AU Lacrosse is a unique and intense version of the sport, playing a short form, fast paced format consisting of eight-minute quarters, 10v10 game play and a 60-second shot clock. The four “teams,” which are drafted each week, are made up of 56 of the world’s best lacrosse players, including current and former members of the U.S. National team, World Cup Gold Medal winners, NCAA All-Americans and more.

This season, sixteen collegiate stars were invited to make their professional debut, joining last season’s rookie of the year and reigning defensive player of the year Abby Bosco, as well as back-to-back top finishers Taylor Moreno and Sam Apuzzo. For the second straight year, Moreno beat out Apuzzo by the slimmest of margins.

For the fourth consecutive season, each AU Lacrosse athlete is protected by a Gladiator Pro — which isn’t new for most of these athletes, as more than half of the league’s players have been wearing Gladiator custom mouthguards since their college careers coming from college programs that work with Gladiator to protect their athletes — up from a third of the league in its first year!

Players have two versions of their custom mouthguard — white and gold, the color of champions — with their individual number now prominently featured on the front of the guard to put more emphasis on the athletes themselves.
