Kieran McArdle, An All-Time Leading Scorer, Is Ready For The 2025 PLL Season

One of professional lacrosse’s all-time leading scorers is ready to lead his team to back to championship glory.
While the 2024 Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) regular season didn’t go as planned for the Philadelphia Waterdogs, Team Gladiator Athlete Kieran McArdle is looking to help his — and our hometown! — squad rebound as the PLL 2025 season gets underway today.
Annually one of the league’s leading scorers, McArdle led the Waterdogs in goals (22) and finished the season 5th overall in the league in points (34). He now sits 8th in points, 6th in goals and 9th in assists on the all-time career leaderboard. He could potentially flirt with the top 5 in those categories by the end of this season!
The 2025 season kicks off today, May 30 — the Waterdogs have a week 1 bye and begin play on June 6 — with each team playing ten games, followed by a single elimination tournament. All-Star Weekend will be held over the July 4th holiday in Kansas City, MO (on ESPN), and a league champion will be crowned in Harrison, NJ, on September 14 (on ABC). Will the hometown Waterdogs make a return to the championship round?
For 2025, McArdle’s High Performance Lite custom mouthguard features the Philly Waterdogs’ purple and black color scheme, with “Philly” printed over the PA State’s keystone logo. The guard also includes McArdle’s usual number six.
