Jaron Ennis Custom Mouthguards For The Unified Super Welterweight Title

Can Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis become a titleholder in a second weight class?

That’s the question that Ennis (35-0, 31 KOs), the previously unified welterweight champion, is looking to answer as he faces unified junior middleweight champion Xander Zayas (23-0, 13 KOs). The two will face off with the WBA and WBO titles on the line, June 27 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, live and exclusive on DAZN PPV from Matchroom Boxing in association with Top Rank.

Ennis, who is from Philly — our hometown! — stepped up to 154 pounds in his October super welterweight debut, defeating Uisma Lima with a first-round stoppage.

‘Boots’ has been wearing Gladiators since 2018 and will continue to honor his late Grandma Sallie who passed in December of 2024 and his former bodyguard who passed in May 2025 with two special designs of his Pro style Gladiator mouthguard — one a bi-color pink and yellow featuring “RIP Grandma Sallie” and JBE logo; and a silver guard with “Forever the Shield” and RIP Panch ID.
